Horse and Soul Tour Review:
If anyone is contemplating going to a Horse and Soul Tour Stop, GO! I just got home from Conyers GA and there are no words to express how great it was. It was quite cold and windy, yet the GA Horse park was packed the entire 2 days! The energy was incredible, lots of giveaways, entertainment and education. Linda demonstrated the lessons she's learned from her mentors, Pat Parelli and Walter Zettl, in sessions about Horsenality, the Game of Contact, and Rider Posture and mechanics. True Linda brilliance! Pat's sessions were over the top, he explained Leads and Lead changes with his horse Slider, who was wearing leg wraps on the diagonal legs so you could easily see his striding. Then a trailer loading segment with a very frightened horse. Always nothing short of awe inspiring! Then a Problem solving session with a horse that was biting and kicking the owner. In true Pat fashion, it was poetry in motion. He took his time, gained the horse's confidence and trust, started developing a language, all the while keeping the horse's dignity.
Kalley Krickeberg performed twice, once in a spotlight showing the beauty and grace between a mare and foal and again on Sunday with a tribute to the USA. Both brought a tear to the eye!
